Secrets of The Immortal

Today's post is more of a Soul post....

I just finished the audiobook, 'Secrets of the Immortal...' by Gary Renard.  Wow - what a mind-altering listen.  

FORGIVENESS is truly the bottom line.  We don't even comprehend the countless opportunities we have to remove judgement and to offer a moment of forgiveness.   It is truly incredible.

You free yourself with this work, not that that is necessarily the goal, but it's a nice side effect.

Snipet: "Forgive everything.   Not because it is OK, but because it didn't really happen."

- What!

I know what you must be thinking:  'it did happen, i was there!', 'she just cut me off!', 'i failed that test', 'it's his fault', 'she's wrong', etc... and what about 911, the Holocaust, etc....  YIKES!  This sounds controversial, right???

Well, i guess it is!   We know we are not our physical bodies or our thoughts or our feelings.  These things are all temporary.  We are born and we die.  We get angry and then we are elated.  When we think bad thoughts, we feel bad.  So these things are just conditions that we create.

What we really are is spirit living in these temporary bodies, with these temporary thoughts and feelings....  and we are creating the world around us as a lesson in forgiveness.  And this becomes a reminder of our truth, which is LOVE.

Wow!  It is very powerful and very fascinating to hear (or read if you prefer).  And you feel really different when you really learn to forgive not just others, but yourself!
